Photography
Photography has always been a passion of mine. From a Polaroid and a GoPro in middle school, to a Nikon camera I got for Christmas and a Canon film camera I found at an estate sale in high school — I’ve always been drawn to the different textures, tones, and stories each camera can capture (and I always get stopped at airport security). In high school, I took photos for my student newspaper, The Kingwood Park Times, capturing moments on the sidelines of football games, at pep rallies, and much more. Beyond school, I’ve worked as a freelance photographer for the Humble Civic Center and Charles Bender Theater in Humble, TX, I’ve documented a gala featuring Sheila Jackson Lee, and I’ve taken senior portraits for graduates in my community. Whether shooting live events, portraits, or everyday moments, I’ve always been drawn to the power of photography to preserve stories and emotions in a single frame.
